Where to find us
The Society's offices are
located at Wootton Hall Park in the premises of the
County Record Office. Wootton Hall Park is about 2 miles
south of Northampton town centre and about 2 miles north
of Junction 15 of the M1, to the south of the (A45)
ring road. Wootton Hall Park is accessible from the
west bound carriageway of the A45. From the A508/A45
roundabout, take the A45 west, pass the police station
and take the first exit. Once past the ambulance station
turn right. There is ample parking space.
In April 2004 the A508
road between junction 15 of the M1 and Northampton was
redesignated the A45 and the A45 Ring Road lost its
A45 road number. From the roundabout follow the
west-bound Ring Road. The map above shows the old road
numbers until new maps are published.
The offices are normally staffed on
Tuesday and Wednesday. At other times access to the
library may be gained during the opening hours of the
Record Office on proof of membership.
