Most of this book is a transcript of account rolls from Crowland Abbey in untranslated Latin.There are three tables covering finance, rents and tallage and a fourth analysing a survey of 1320.
However, the Introduction (which is in English) provides much insight about the evolution and government of the Manor and its economic organisation.
