- Naseby Carlyle at Naseby Letter in which Thomas Carlyle described his visit to village and battlefield.
- Naseby History and Antiquities of Naseby by John Mastin [1792] Unfortunately, the quality of some pages of the book as digitised is poor. The edition published by the Record Society does not have such defects.
- Naseby Naseby: A Parish History edited by R L Greenall [1974] This illustrated book focuses on the parish of Naseby and those who lived there rather than on the battle. It results from work by a team of 22 members of a local history course there which was led by Ron Greenall.
